More likely it&#039;s caused by an HSV 1 (herpes simplex virus 1) infection which is very common. Most adults are infected with HSV 1, whether they&#039;re aware of it or not. Could you have given your boyfriend HSV 1? Possibly, but it&#039;s just as likely if not more so that he was infected previously.</description>

		<description>i would like more info on this, my bf told me that he has a burst of what looks like fever blistors and asked if i was the cause of this. 

my response to him was simple, i will have myself checked out. although my question to you is could this ba case of an STD and how will we know of the signs before seeing a doctor.</description>
